Alma grew up in a town in Italy.
20 years ago Van Wayne and Alma were snowed in the office and Van claims that "She taught me things".
Alma is retiring from Wayne Security after a 40 years. Van did not arrange for a proper retirement party for Alma so Emily Locke stepped in to arrange the party herself. At the party, she was given a retirement gift of a canister of olives from her the town in Italy where she grew up. During the party, Sea Troll began attacking charm city. Van used Alma as a human shield and she was struck with a Transmorphic beam that turned her right arm into a squid tentacle. During the banquet honoring Van Wayne, she was again struck with the Transmorphic beam turning her arm back to normal. Alma Seems to be good friends with Jackie who drove her to the doctors when she had the squid arm.
