- LexCorp is owned by Superman's rival, Lex Luthor. In some comics/media published by DC Comics, there are different versions of LexCorp and It is more of a family-owned buisness rather than just being owned by Lex Luthor.
- In Smallville Lex Luthor's father, Lionel Luthor founds a company called LuthorCorp. Lex does open up a small agricultural company called LexCorp but it is later incorporated into LuthorCorp. In the season finale, it is implied that Lex will change rename LuthorCorp into LexCorp.
- In Supergirl the Luthor family company is originally LuthorCorp but Lena Luthor decides to rename the company L-Corp to distance it from Lex Luthor's criminal reputation.
